Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) is a government agency with the mission of promoting major industrial develop and the provision of infrastructure especially in "developing parts and underdeveloped parts of the State."[1]

MIDC was the proponent of the 1320 megawatt coal-fired Bhadravati power station (MIDC). However, in September 2010 the agency drops is plan.[2]
