Background
The signing ceremony for the "multi-energy complementary integration project" in Anhui[2] took place in May 2022.[3] It was permitted by November 17, 2022.[4]
Units 1 and 2 had an EIA report accepted in June 2023[5], with the EIA approved in August 2023[6]. No construction news emerged, and in December 2024, the company announced it had no plans to build the project, leading to its shelving[7]. No revived news emerged in 2025-2026[8].
