Background
The Phase One of the project (Unit 1-1 and Unit 1-2) was approved and confirmed by the Maoming Municipal Development and Reform Bureau on July 26, 2022. It is expected to commence production and operation in 2025.[6]
The second phase is expected to build two 9F-class natural gas cogeneration units by the mid-term of the 14th Five-Year Plan.[6]
