Background
The Maple Leaf cement plant is one of Pakistan's oldest and largest cement plants. Opened in 1956, its production capacity is over 8 million tonnes annually.[2][3] The plant contains four dry-process production lines and has the capacity to produce both grey and white clinker and cement.[4]
