Background

Marmara LNG Terminal is an LNG import onshore terminal in Tekirdag, Turkey. Construction of the terminal began in 1989. The plant is a base load plant and a means of peak shaving for gas purchased as LNG that is used to store imported LNG, dispatch regasified LNG via pipelines, and load LNG to trucks. The terminal has three 85.000 cubic meters storage tankers.
