Matou power station (大唐马头发电厂) is an operating power station of at least 600-megawatts (MW) in Matou, Hanshan District, Handan, Hebei, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating.

Background
The plant was founded in 1958, and is currently owned by China Datang. Units 1-6 (670MW) have been closed down "in accordance with the national electricity policy," according to the China Datang website. Unit 7 of 220MW was put into operation in 1983, Unit 8 of 200MW in 1994, and units 9 and 10 of 300MW each in 2010.[2]
Unit 7 was retired in 2017.[3] Unit 8 is planned for retirement in 2018,[4] and was retired in 2019.[5]
