Background
Max Myanmar Group is one of the private cement manufacturers in Myanmar, situated near Taung Philar Limestone Deposit[3]. In 2025, the plant suffered damages caused by an earthquake, but has been normally operating since April 15, 2025. From April 3 to April 20, 2025, Max Myanmar Cement plant distrubuted 10,150 tonnes of cement to earthquake-hit areas[4].
