Background

The Mitsubishi UBE Cement Corporation Aomori Plant is located in Aomori City, Aomori Prefecture, Japan. Established in 1979 by Tohoku Kaihatsu Co., Ltd., the plant has been a significant contributor to the region's cement production.[3]

In 1991, Mitsubishi Materials Corporation merged with Tohoku Kaihatsu Co., Ltd., integrating the Aomori Plant into its operations.[4]
