Background

The power station is owned by Chugoku Electric Power Co and is located in Kurashiki, Okayama, Chūgoku Prefecture, Japan. In May 2022, Chugoku Electric Power announced that the station would be retired in April 2023.

According to the owner's 2023 overview report, Unit 2 of the power station was "abolished" in April 2023.
