The Muscar-Soto gas pipeline is an operating gas pipeline in Venezuela.[1]

Location

The pipeline transports natural gas between PDVSA's Muscar Operations Center (Compejo Operativo Muscar) in Monagas state and the Soto Valve Station (Estación de Válvulas Soto) near Maremare, Anzoátegui state.

Background

In July 2022, a fire broke out on the Muscar-Soto pipeline, disrupting service.[4] Venezuela's Oil Minister Tareck El Aissami blamed the fire on a terrorist attack.[3][5][6]
