Background
The full NSW Gas Network consists of 25,000km of pipeline, much of which is comprised of distribution lines. It provides gas to over 1.5 million customers. The system includes two transmission pipelines, the Northern Trunk, which runs from Wilton to Newcastle, and the Southern Trunk, which runs from Wilton to Wollongong.[1]
