Background
Nagasaki LNG Terminal is an LNG terminal in Kyushu, Japan.[1]
Nagasaki LNG Terminal received its first shipment from Malaysia in 2003.[1] The terminal includes a berth for arriving LNG tankers, an LNG regasification plant, and a terminal where LNG is reloaded onto tank lorries for shipping.[2]
In July 2020, the Nagasaki LNG Terminal was converted into a satellite facility and stopped receiving international LNG shipments. These operations and fuel supply to the Saibu Gas Nagasaki Plant are currently handled by the Hibiki LNG Terminal.[3]
