Background

The Neka–Ray crude oil pipeline is a 340 km oil pipeline in northern Iran designed to move crude received at Neka from Caspian littoral states to refineries in Tehran and, via the broader system, Tabriz; Kayson describes the project as a phased buildout with 115,000 b/d in its first phase, rising to 370,000 b/d and then 500,000 b/d in later phases. Kayson’s EPC package covered the installation of four pumping stations, a pressure breaker, and a terminal, supporting transfer of swapped crude onward to Iran’s domestic refining system.[4]
