Ningxia Liupanshan power station (中铝宁夏能源六盘山热电厂) is a 660-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, China.

An additional 2,000 MW coal-fired power plant is proposed at the site or a related site by ChinaEnergy (国能宁夏电力六盘山电厂).

Background on CHALCO Plant

The two existing coal-fired units of Ningxia Liupanshan power station, totaling 660 MW, were brought online in 2010. The plant is owned by Ningxia Electric Power Group.[1]
