The initial pipeline, 1TL, was installed in 1982 and the second pipeline, expansion 2TL, was added in 2002 to support the expansion of the LNG facilities at the Karratha Gas Plant.[2] Currently, both pipelines transport gas from the three platforms and the Floating Production and Storage Offloading facility (FPSO) that make up the offshore North West Shelf project.[2]
