Oświęcim-Tworzen Gas Pipeline

Oświęcim-Tworzen Gas Pipeline is an operating gas pipeline in Poland.[1]
Location
The pipeline is routed through the Silesian and Lesser Poland Voivodeships. The gas pipeline goes through the territories of the following municipalities: Sławków, Bukowno, Jaworzno, Chrzanów, Libiąż, Chełmek and Oświęcim.[1]

Background
The pipeline was proposed in January 2019 and Gaz-System expects to begin construction in early 2021.[1]
As of August 2021, Gaz-System states that obtaining permission for the construction of the gas pipeline is planned for the third quarter of 2021.[4] However, an updated project description in 2022 pushes the commissioning of the pipeline to 2024, with construction yet to begin.[5]
The pipeline was constructed and commissioned in 2025, as part of the "Coal to Gas" program.[3]
