Background

The Oggaz Cement Plant is owned by the Algerian subsidiary of international cement manufacturer Holcim.[3] It produces both blended and OPC cements, and both white and grey cements using two production lines.[4] The company and the plant are also major cement exporters, exporting approximately 3.1 million tonnes in 2024. [5][6]
