Background

The Oggaz Cement Plant is owned by the Algerian subsidiary of international cement manufacturer Holcim. It produces both blended and OPC cements, and both white and grey cements using two production lines. The company and the plant are also major cement exporters, exporting approximately 3.1 million tonnes in 2024.
