Financing Details
Estimated project cost is approximately US$615 million, with a equity financing provided by Energy World Corp Ltd. A US$165 million loan package with Land Bank of the Philippines was allegedly closed in 2015, but as per Energy World Corp's 2018 annual report, it seems that it did not go ahead as some conditions were not fulfilled. Energy World's 2023 report mentions a different loan with the bank, and a term sheet was received, but the 2024 report does not provide specifics on this.[17][18]
