Pasargad Steel Complex Fars (مجتمع فولاد پاسارگاد, مجتمع صنعتی ذوب آهن پاسارگاد, صنایع فولاد آلیاژی پاسارگاد), also known as PASCO, Pasargad Alloy Steel Complex, Pasargad Steel Industrial Complex, is a steel plant in Kavar, Fars, Iran that operates electric arc furnace (EAF) and direct reduced iron (DRI) technology.

Background

The Pasargad Steel Complex is one of the largest private-sector steel producers in Iran. The plant has a Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) unit with a capacity of 1.8 million tons per year, and an Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) steelmaking unit with a capacity of 1.5 million tons per year.[1]

In December 2025, workers at the plant went on strike protesting unpaid wages and other labor concerns.[2]
