Project details

Background

The pipeline is used to transport unstable gas condensate from the Pechoro-Kozhvinskoye and Yugida Gas Condensate Fields to the Zapadny Soplesk Gas Condensate Field from where it runs to the Vuktyl Gas Treatment Plant. The processing of the unstable gas condensate is carried out at the stabilization unit of the Sosnogorsk Gas Processing Plant. The pipeline is sometimes referred to as "an inter-field pipeline" as it transports gas condensate between two fields. The pipeline has a reserve pipeline (a segment of the pipeline) laid along the bottom of the Pechora River in the area near the settlement of Krasny Yar. A segment of the pipeline connecting the Yugida Gas Condensate Field and Zapadny Soplesk was buil in 1987. [1][4]
