Peigou Coal Mine (郑州煤炭工业(集团)杨河煤业有限公司裴沟煤矿) is an underground coal mine located in Laiji Town, Xinmi City, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, China.[1]

Coal Mine Background

Peigou Coal Mine was built in March 1960 and was put into operation in March 1966, with a designed production capacity of 0.6 million tons per year. After several upgrades, the approved production capacity in January 2015 was 1.8 million tons per year.[2] The approved production capacity in 2019 is 1.8 million tons per year.[3]

At 11:33 on July 18, 2017, a roofing accident occurred in Peigou Coal Mine. 1 person died, and 1 person was slightly injured.[2]On March 31, 2021, an object strike accident occurred in Peigou Coal Mine, and one person was killed.[4]
