Project details

Background

The pipelines transport gas condensate from the Pelyatkinskoye, Yuzhno-Soleninskoye, Severo-Soleninskoye oil and gas fields and Messoykhskoye Gas Field to Dudinka.[4][6] The gas condensate is extracted by Norilskgazprom JSC jointly with gas, separated from it at gas processing plants, and transported by Norilsktransgaz JSC through a main condensate pipeline to the tank farms in Dudinka. Then, the gas condensate is pumped into the tanks of the Taimyr Fuel Company.[1]

The original condensate pipeline was demolished and replaced by a new pipeline in 2016. The new condensate pipeline is not laid on the ground, but is primarily elevated. The maximum height of the spanning structures supporting the pipeline reaches 12 meters. This structure helps to protect the equipment from ice drifts and floods. In areas prone to thawing, engineers have calculated the optimal height for the structures to eliminate the risk of equipment damage even during the maximum rise in this area.[7][11][12]
