Pertamina Bangladesh FSRU is a liquefied natural gas (LNG) floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) import terminal proposed in Bangladesh. The project will supply LNG to Pertamina Bangladesh power station.[1] As of 2023, there have been no project updates in over 4 years, and the terminal is presumed to be cancelled.

Background

In January 2018, Pertamina announced that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDP) to build an integrated LNG power plant in the country, including a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) for importing LNG.[1]

As of 2023, there have been no project updates in over 4 years, and the terminal is presumed to be cancelled.
