Background on Mine
The Pimpalgaon Open Cast Coal Mine Project was accorded Environment Clearance for expansion in the coal production capacity from 0.60 MTPA to 1.5 MTPA and lease area from 450 ha to 451.87 ha on 20th March 2007 [1].
The copy of six monthly compliance report of conditions of Environment Clearance is uploaded on MoEF&CC website for Pimpalgaon Opencast Coal Mine Expansion Project from April 2019 to September 2019. [2].
