Background

Pindo-Deli-Ii power station began operating in 2007.[2] The power station burned gas and coal, but it was primarily gas-fired. As of 2009, the power station also co-fired with paper mill waste sludge.[3]

In December 2020, the Hong Kong-based company Datang Overseas Energy Investment Co., Ltd., acquired a 75% ownership stake in Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk, for a purchase price of USD 394 million.[4]

According to PT DSS's 2024 Annual Report, the power station was sold to PT Pindo Deli Pulp and Paper Mills.[5]
