Background

Pindo-Deli-Ii power station began operating in 2007.[1] As of 2009, the power station co-fired with paper mill waste sludge.[2]

In December 2020, the Hong Kong-based company Datang Overseas Energy Investment Co., Ltd., acquired a 75% ownership stake in Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk, for a purchase price of USD 394 million.[3]
