Background
Pindo-Deli-Ii power station began operating in 2007.[5] The power station burned gas and coal, with two primarily gas-fired units and two primarily coal-fired units.[6]
As of 2009, the power station also co-fired with paper mill waste sludge.[7]
In December 2020, the Hong Kong-based company Datang Overseas Energy Investment Co., Ltd., acquired a 75% ownership stake in Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk, for a purchase price of USD 394 million.[8]
According to PT DSS's 2024 Annual Report, the power station was sold to PT Pindo Deli Pulp and Paper Mills.[9]
