Pingdingshan Nylon Town Cogen power station (中国电力平顶山尼龙城热电) is a permitted power station in Ye County, Pingdingshan, Henan, China. It is also known as 中国电力平顶山尼龙城热电等容量替代2×660MW超超临界燃煤发电工程.

Background
This 2 x 660 MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired power station was reportedly permitted on 30 September 2022 to begin construction (豫发改审批〔2022〕583号) by Henan Provincial Development and Reform Commission.[2]
The plant was to be located in Pingdingshan Nylon New Material Industry Agglomeration Area.[3][4][5]
In December 2022, a construction commencement ceremony was held for the power project[6], however, satellite imagery could not confirm if any construction had actually taken place between December 2022 and April 2023.
The project was included in a 2023 list of key construction projects in Henan.[7]
