Background

Port Dolphin LNG Terminal was a proposed LNG terminal in Florida, United States.[1] In September of 2015, LNG World News reported that Port Dolphin LNG requested the Federal Energy and Regulatory Commission abandon existing application filings. The company cited shifting natural gas markets since the original proposal, which has resulted in the United States becoming an exporter rather than an importer of natural gas.[2]
