Background

As of July 2021 there are no updates on this project and no mention of it on Hirbodan's website. It possible this proposal was confused with either the Pasargard Energy Development Company (PEDC) or Ghadir Investment Company/MAPNA projects, likely the two power plants alluded to in an article about the development of Qeshm Island.
