As of July 2021 there are no updates on this project and no mention of it on Hirbodan's website.[2] It possible this proposal was confused with either the Pasargard Energy Development Company (PEDC) or Ghadir Investment Company/MAPNA projects, likely the two power plants alluded to in an article about the development of Qeshm Island[3].
