The gas pipeline will be routed through the territories of the following municipalities: Racibórz, Kuźnia Raciborska, Nędza, Lyski, Rybnik, Czerwionka- Leszczyny, Orzesze, Suszec, Kobiór, Tychy, Bojszowy, Bieruń, Oświęcim and Chełmek.[1]

Background

Pipeline construction was expected to begin in 2022, but appears to have been delayed. As of July, 2022, Gaz-System reports that the pipeline is currently in the "engineering design" phase, with the permitting phase yet to begin. Accordingly, their updated timeline notes that they expect the pipeline to be commissioned in 2025.[2]
