The Ramagundam Opencast -III Coal Mine Project is a 6.8 MTPA mine, operated by Singareni Collieries Company Limited, a subsidiary of Coal India, on an area of 1393.81 Ha in village Venkatrao pally Jallaram, Mandal Ramagiri, District Peddapalli, State Telangana, India.[1]

The mine started operating after getting its NOC in 1998 at a initial capcity of 2.75 and was granted an Environment Clearance for operation at a capacity of 5 MTPA on an area of 1393.81 Ha on 31 July 2008.[2]
