Background

Ramco Cements began its journey in 1961 and over the decades have established five integrated cement plants and six cement grinding units.

The Kolaghat Grinding Unit was commissioned in 2010. The unit has been augmented from 0.95 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) to 1.95 mtpa with the addition of the second production line, installed in 2019. This unit is capable of grinding slag cement, OPC and PPC. The plant is located in close proximity to Kharagphur, West Bengal to cater the customers across eastern India.
