Tehran-Tabriz Crude Oil Pipeline, also known as the Rey-Tabriz Oil Pipeline and Ray-Tabriz Oil Pipeline, is an operating crude oil and oil products pipeline in Iran.[1][2] Two parallel pipelines exist along the route — an original 1st Section, which transports oil products, and a more recent 2nd Section, which transports crude oil.[2]

Location

Both sections of the pipeline start at the Tehran Refinery and run to the Tabriz Refinery, Iran.[1]

Background

The 2nd Section is 16 inches and is located parallel to the existing 14-inch Tehran-Tabriz Crude Oil Pipeline 1st Section, with 5 meters clearance. The pipeline routes pass through Idaloo Pumping Station and Qarachaman Pumping Station.[3]
