Background
Rongcheng Gas Thermal power station (荣成市天然气热电厂) was approved by the Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission in March 2019. [13]
Phase One (Unit 1 and Unit 2) construction started in 2017, and the project commenced operation in 2019.[14]
