Background
As of January 2021, Goteborg Energi was planning to apply for a permit to switch the plants fuel from natural gas to biofuels.[5][6] They expect this conversion to be completed by 2027.
Goteborg also notes the possibility of burning hydrogen using their Siemens SGT-800 turbine, although the necessary infrastructure for doing so appears to be lacking.[7]
