SPIC Jiedong Gas Thermal power station (国家电投揭东燃气热电站, 国家电投揭东燃气热电二期项目(Unit 2-1 and 2-2)) is an operating power station of at least 200-megawatts (MW) in Putian, Jiedong, Jieyang, Guangdong, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating.

Background
The first phase (Unit 1-1 and Unit 1-2) of SPIC Jiedong Gas Thermal power station (国家电投揭东燃气热电站)was approved by the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission on February 2, 2018. Construction officially commenced on December 18, 2018. The main source of gas is from the PetroChina West-East Gas Pipeline, and there is also an LNG vaporization station within the plant area. [10]On November 30, 2022, the first phase of the project was officially put into operation.[11]
On December 24, 2021, the Jieyang Municipal Development and Reform Commission approved the second phase(Unit 2-1 and Unit 2-2) of the project.[12]
