Sabzevar Steel Complex Razavi Khorasan (شرکت پارس فولاد سبزوار), also known as Pars Foolad Sabzevar Company, Sabzevar Pars Steel Company, SPSCO, SSPS, is a steel plant in Jovein, Central Khorasan, Iran that operates electric arc furnace (EAF) and direct reduced iron (DRI) technology.

Background

The Sabzevar Steel Complex in Razavi Khorasan province was constructed as part of a government-led effort to build Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) plants in seven different provinces.[1] The plant opened in 2018 with a production capacity of 800,000 tonnes of DRI per year.[2] Plans have also been announced to add Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) and additional DRI units, though as of 2026 there has been little movement.[3]
