Saih Nihayda-Duqm Gas Pipeline, خط غاز سيح نهيدة -الدقم, is an operating gas pipeline in Oman[1]

Location

The pipeline runs from Saih Nihayda in Ad Dakhiliyah Governorate to Al Duqm in Al Wusta Governorate.[1]

Background

In 2014, a contract was awarded for the construction of a pipeline between Saih Nihayda and Duqm, with operations expected to begin in 2016.[4]

However, construction fell behind schedule, with only 8 percent of the 36 inch, 25 million cubic meter per day pipeline completed by the end of 2017.[5]

The project was complete in 2021, costing approximately OMR 98 million. The pipeline's final length was 221 km.[3]
