The Saraipalli Opencast Coal Mine Project of 1.40 MTPA on a mining lease area of 279 ha operated by South Eastern Coalfields Limited, is located in village Budbud, Tehsil Pali Sub District, District Korba, State Chhattisgarh, India. The project received its environment clearance for a capacity of 1.40 MTPA on 21 March 2007.[1]

The work on mine started only in 2016 due to delays in receiving forest clearance.[2]
