Shandong Haihua Weifang power station (潍坊滨海海化能源1×5万千瓦背压机组热电联产项目, 山东海化集团潍坊热电厂) is an operating power station of at least 230-megawatts (MW) in Haihua Street, Hanting District, Weifang, Shandong, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating. It is also known as 山东海化集团潍坊热电公司新厂 (New Unit 7, New Unit 8), 山东海化集团潍坊热电公司三电厂 (Unit 3-1, Unit 3-2).

Background on Project
Shandong Haihua Weifang power station was a six-unit coal plant in Shandong Province, owned by Shandong Haihua Group.[5][6][7]
Unit 8 was reportedly retired in 2021.[8]
In 2024, an environmental impact assessment provided details on the plant's existing units.[9]
By 2025, it was reported that a project to upgrade Unit 7 (Unit 3-1) was underway, and no separate Unit 3-3 exists.[10]
In 2025, project details for Unit 11 were published, including a plan to build a new 50MW back-pressure unit to replace existing units.[11] The project received its environmental impact assessment approval in June 2026.[12]
