Background

The giant petrochemical project began construction in October 2020 on an artificial reclamation island. The project appeared to involve four units: 2 x 70 MW and 2 x 80 MW.[1][2][3]

In 2021, the project was described as five units for a total of 5 x 60 MW.[4][5]
