Shanghai Petrochem cogen power station (中石化上海石化热电厂) is an operating power station of at least 400-megawatts (MW) in Jinshan, Shanghai, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating. It is also known as Jinshan Petrochem power station 金山石化热电厂, Shanghai Jinshan-1 power station.

Background
Replacement Units 1‑4 are under construction. In 2023, the project was approved and a groundbreaking ceremony was held, with the project appearing on Shanghai's key projects list in 2024.[7][8][9]
In 2024, an EPC contract was signed, and the first concrete was poured in August.[10][11]
In 2025, the project was progressing toward completion by 2026, with major milestones like boiler installation and chimney topping achieved.[12]
