Background on Project

Shayang power station is a proposed 2 x 1,000 MW coal plant for Shayang district, sponsored by State Power Investment Corporation. The plant was proposed in June 2020, shortly after commissioning of a new railway from coal-rich west Inner Mongolia to Jiangxi, through Hubei.[1]
