Background on Project

Beijing Shenwu Group has proposed a 2 x 660 MW ultra-supercritical coal plant in Jvyuan Village, Xiangdong District.

The project was listed in the Jiangxi Province National Energy's 13th Five Year Plan.

In August 2020 it was reported that Beijing Shenwu Group was in deep debt and de-listed from the stock market. As a result, its coal plant proposal is likely cancelled.
