Background

Siam City Thap Kwang 2 Cement Plant was one of the five Siam City plants that replaced its fossil fuel feedstocks with renewable biomass, such as rice husks, wood processing residues and other agricultural waste. Its parent company, Siam City Cement, has set targets for its scope 1 & 2 emissions in line with a 2°C pathway.
