Background
Siam City Thap Kwang 2 Cement Plant was one of the five Siam City plants that replaced its fossil fuel feedstocks with renewable biomass, such as rice husks, wood processing residues and other agricultural waste[3]. Its parent company, Siam City Cement, has set targets for its scope 1 & 2 emissions in line with a 2°C pathway[4].
