Background

The sources of the pipeline is multiple gas fields in the Sichuan Basin. The total land area of ​​lines and stations is about 400 acres, and the total investment scale is about 10 billion yuan.[1] In October 2020, ownership of the pipeline was transferred from Sinopec to PipeChina.[4]

“川渝输气大环线”管道项目由普光-元坝-德阳段、新场-三邑-天府新区段、永川-威远-天府新区段以及元坝-阆中-南充段、中江-龙泉-简阳段组成，辐射四川省成都市、德阳市、绵阳市、广元市、巴中市、达州市、南充市、眉山市、内江市等全省主要经济区和城市群，管道全长1756km（其中四川境内1254km），设计输气能力为120亿立方米/年，总投资规模约100亿元。
