Background
Sichuan Investment Group Dazhou Gas power station (川投达州燃气发电站) has two phases.
Phase one (Unit 1-1 and Unit 1-2) of the project was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission on November 9, 2012. Construction began on December 14, 2012, and it officially started operating on November 2, 2015. [7]
Phase two (Unit 2-1 and Unit 2-2) of the project obtained approval and consent from the Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission on December 29, 2022. [8]Construction for phase two officially commenced on September 28, 2023.[9]
