Background
In October 2025, Oil India Limited, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, and Numaligarh Refinery Limited signed an MOU for a 700 km cross-country pipeline that would carry approximately 4 mmtpa of motor spirit, high-speed diesel, and aviation turbine fuel as part of Numarligarh's refinery expansion.[2]
