Background

The Béni Saf Cement Plant is owned by S.CI.BS (Société des Ciments de Béni Saf), a subsidiary of GICA (Groupe Industriel des Ciments d'Algérie), the largest cement producer in Algeria.[3] It has one rotary kiln with the capacity to produce up to a million tonnes of clinker annually.[3]
