Background

The Tilatou Cement Plant, also called the Aïn Touta Cement Plant, is part of GICA (Groupe Industriel des Ciments d'Algérie).[3] It has the capacity to produce approximately 1 million tonnes per year of cement using two rotary kilns.[4]
