Background
There had been no updates on the project since 2020. [1] However, in July 2025, it was reported that Perenco Vietnam and its partners have signed a new 25-year production sharing contract for offshore Block 15-1 with the Vietnamese government and expect to approve a final investment decision for the Phase 2B development of the Su Tu Trang gas and condensate field, delivering an additional 125 MMcf/d of gas over a seven-year period.[2]
